UPDATE 2-27-2023: Uploaded a new version that includes several quality of life improvements, dialogue tweaks, and under the hood fixes! Major changes include fullscreen switching, controller support, better scorekeeping, and a reworked system for phone calls with Lalo.
Rusty Seas is a retro-style game reminiscent of the 16-bit console era with a splash of 90's computer gaming, drawing inspiration and design philosophy from some of the great classics of that time, as well as plucking a few bits from more modern games to bridge the gap.
Play as Mirig, a diner waitress whose afternoon off is interrupted by a mysterious (and very profitable) offer to collect high-tech junk washing up on the beaches of Northshore. But her venture is fraught with a colorful cast of competitors who also want to lay claim to the salvages. To overcome, Mirig will need to throw her weight around, dunk her adversaries, buy outfits and items, and make friends and allies along the way.
In addition to action-based gameplay, Rusty Seas also features a splash of visual novel style content, through which the player can learn that the lore of Northshore runs a little deeper than its cozy sands.
This demo build includes the entire first world of what will be the full version of Rusty Seas.

The controls are a tad stiff especially during combat, but all the art and writing are excellent!

Played the demo. So No it is not a Porn Game. It contains sexy Furrys ans fund fight and some aktual good controls. But does not go into Porn. What i think is a great idea, to keep the game free of it and concentrate on good controle Style and a funny gameplay.

This game's fun and worth backing on Kickstarter. I backed it a while back but never got around to actually playing the demo, but better late than never I guess.
How NSFW is the full game going to be upon release from Kickstarter?
The final game will be saucy, but there won't be any nudity. The height of 'NSFW'ness in Rusty Seas will very likely be suggestive content and small swimsuits.
I may not be able to play it due to the lack of a PC, but I am for sure excited to see the development. Now why do I feel like this scene is a perfect fit for a certain pink inflatable to appear somewhere...
I wonder what outfits may be planned for the game.
I have a couple more planned aside from the ones you catch a glimpse of in the demo, but I want to leave those as a surprise!
I can't wait to see all of those eye catching outfits. It would be neat to have an outfit similar to the ones those vivians were wearing too.

As far as I can tell, Gamemaker requires a Mac environment to export to a Mac environment. If I can get a Mac computer on the cheap and make it work, I'll let you know!
